Our 6th speculative fiction Short Story Contest is Immigration Justice.

Prompt: A household living in a positive and possible future, where immigration justice is the new norm.

Prizes: One Winner will receive a cash prize of $100. Three runners up will receive $50 (USD). Up to 15 will be selected for book publication.

Eligibility: Open to everyone, everwhere, without restrictions.

Hi, I’m Alexis, owner of Stories to Change the World. For 10 years, my mission has been to build the body of literature depicting positive and possible futures, because the first step in building a better world is to imagine it.
Right now, nothing weighs more on my mind than which is why that’s the topic for our current short story contest! Open to everyone worldwide we’re looking for 1000 to 2000 words about a household living in a plausible future where immigration justice is the new norm. This short story contest is open to everyone worldwide! Imagine a positive and possible future where immigration justice is the new norm. What would a day in that world look like what would be different? Who would be there? What would we be doing?
Stories to change the world begs you to answer that question because if we can’t imagine a better future than we wouldn’t be able to build one. Imagination precedes invention, so let’s get going!
