We have new floors!!
It's been a lot of work to get to this point but we are so happy we are here.
A little more work before we can bring our stuff in and add a little Christmas cheer.

The kitchen is back!...
Flooring is going down monday so all the cabinets need to be in. We will paint them later. We are trying to beat the snow and everyone being booked up due to the holidays. I am so excited to be over the hump of this project.

Found a little free time to start on the next generation of TG games.
Here's a sneak peak at the packaging for my first release for 2026. It's a cozy little fall-inspired game called RAKE. Simply rake your leaves up into piles by stacking them, and the player with the most piles wins. The base set will be 2 players, but I will have multiple sets to add more players.
I wanted to start off with a game that feels like it belongs in the same family of games like backgammon, chess, and other coffee table delights.
We love it and hope you will too!

Looking through old photos, I'm excited to get back to my more inventive self. I have many unshared ideas, new crafting equipment, and new materials to experiment with.
Moving forward into the new year, I plan to continue to my focus on travel games with more simplistic mechanics for gamers of all levels. The goal is to help more people break from electronics to have more one on one interactions through gaming. That, really, has always been the goal of Terrier Games since the beginning.
I feel I am getting closer to my dream of in-house production for my games. This dream will allow me to create some unique and crazy cool stuff while keeping costs down. Also, by sharing my process, i hope to inspire more game creators to follow, equaling more games and cool stuff for everyone.
Anyway, that's my two cents for now. Thanks for all the continued support.

We have a kitchen floor again
We are still on track to moving in before Xmas.
I am so excited to finally be on the back end of this project. I have a lot of ideas for games and for Terrier Games that I have had to put off in order to get our new home ready for us. I have a lot of new stuff to share that i will probably save for early 2026.
Thank you for sticking around and the continued support while we build our new home.

Progress!
Although this project seems like it's dragging on, the finish line is in sight.
Can't wait to be done!
Nobody said home ownership was easy... please don't anyone make a board game about home renovations.

Ima go on a little bit of a rant here...
First off, I was super excited to see these mint tins show up in my mailbox today! The art is wonderful, and the themes work for me.
My problem is this... the whole idea of a "mint tin game" is something that is portable, has a small footprint, and fits in a mint tin. Well, that's my problem. These games are so crammed into these tins that they barely close. If I were to accidentally drop one, I fear the tin will bust open, sending way to many things in every direction.
The games are good, and im not trying to put the publisher or game creator down. I am simply highlighting this issue to hopefully direct other designers and publishers to learn from this mistake.
In all honesty, it took me longer to tetris everything back into the tins than it did to actually read the rules, set up the game, and play it. I probably won't get these to the table very often because I will dread the clean-up. Sorry, Galen.

Progress update...
Flooring is going down in the kids' room.
Working our way to the TG Headquarters next. So excited to make progress on the house so I can get back to focusing on the games.

The kitchen cabinets are gone. There's a bit of a surprise mold issue to address. Playing house is always a harder game than it appears to be.

MIA for so long?... because we bought a (town)house!
Now we are finally in it and making quite a mess. Just about a complete remodel before moving in. We hope to be done enough to move in before October, and there is still a lot of work to be done.
So this page will be a little quiet for a little longer, but I will return when the dust settles.

She loves playing daddy's games, she says...
Well, she better... I made them with the intention of playing them with her.
It's fun as she gets older, and I can sneak in more complex mechanics into my games.
It's all about family and the good company of others. That's why we play, that's why we're gamers, and that's why we're addicted to the hobby.
