The NYCLU filed an appeal challenging a state court decision upholding Nassau County's trans athlete restriction.

Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman defended the county's law.

"As usual, the NYCLU is on the wrong side of this important issue and it's tragic that they oppose fairness and safety in women's sports," Blakeman said.

Eugenics research was not just in N**i Germany. Its HQ was a nondescript building in Cold Spring Harbor.

BREAKING: Dave Kerpen runs for North Hempstead town supervisor

"We need a leader who is truly going to listen, be transparent, be responsive to all the needs of our constituents, not someone that talks the talk but somebody who has literally walked the walk of likable leadership," Kerpen said.

Kerpen, who is running on the Democratic ticket, announced his campaign at noon today. He will be running for the seat held currently by Jennifer DeSena, who has not announced if she will be running for re-election or not.
