Coffee, muffins, and books for breakfast? Sure, why not? Thanks to the many readers who have expressed an interest in my new series with the debut of Death at the Dentist. What a fun book to write! I'd had this idea of a housecleaner-turned-sleuth for a number of years. As the idea developed in my mind, Sonja Hovland sprang to life on the page last winter and even I was surprised at the plucky determination of this ordinary blue-collar worker. I also include some cultural flavor by digging into my husband's Norwegian family heritage especially food - lutefisk, lefse, ya, ya, ya! I am currently writing the second installment in this series, Death at the University, which will come out in the spring of 2026. Thanks to so many who have gone on a journey with Sonja! More surprises to come! Stay tuned!
