# MORE IN KIND DONATIONS # #

After speaking to Emergency Management Officials, we are NOT sharing any local supply donation drives for flood victims.

While we understand everyone’s desire and good intentions, it’s not as impactful as many hope and can actually hinder operations and cause chaos when people just show up with trailers loaded with donated supplies.

The best thing we can do is to donate money to the community foundation that has been set up. You can donate money via the Community Foundation below:

https://www.communityfoundation.net

If you want to volunteer, you need to reach out to the Salvation Army who is coordinating with local officials and boots on the ground in the affected area. Sign up to volunteer at the following link:

Although most of the flooding is south of us, we would like to remind everyone to stay safe and turn around, don’t drown.
It only takes 12 inches of moving water to carry away a small car.

Our thoughts and prayers are with our fellow Texans affected by the catastrophic flooding as well as the first responders who are answering the calls for help.

67 victims have been identified in the flooding around the Hill Country.

At a Press Conference by Kerr County officials, it was announced that they have set up a Foundation for monetary donations. At this time they are asking for financial assistance and not food or water.

Please donate at the link below that has been set up by community officials.
