Bob’s summer style is in full swing.
He only wears button-downs with collars and pockets…so yep, we had them custom made. Today he said, “Babe, the vest gets too warm in the summer.” 😂 Honestly, I think he has more clothes than I do.

Now he’s out mowing the lawn in his new shirt and yells in, “Babe! I’m washing darks. When it’s done, only dry my shirts and pants together. I don’t want them wrinkled! You overload the dryer and they need room to breathe!” 😆

Just another day living with Bob.
…Oh crap. He just came inside. I forgot to put his load in the dryer. 😬 Wish me luck!

14 years ago today, my world grew brighter, I was blessed with my second baby girl.

Today, both my daughters light up my life in the most incredible ways. My oldest is getting ready to leave for college, graduating with high honors and I’m beyond proud of her. She’s driven, focused, and wise beyond her years. My youngest? She’s pure sunshine. She sings, dances, laughs loud, tans in the yard, experiments with makeup, and brings joy to every room she enters.

They are my mini-me’s, perfectly different and perfectly balanced. Today they are grabbing boba, shopping, and chasing every birthday freebie they can find together and that makes my heart full.

Being a mom is the coolest and hardest thing I’ve ever done. Seeing myself in them (for better or worse 😂) always makes me smile. Bob often says, “Oh boy, KC… we’ve got our hands full!” And he’s right. Living in a house full of girls isn’t for the faint of heart, but he takes it in stride. He’s a patient, supportive stepdad who lets me lead even when he doesn’t agree and loves them like his own.

No, we’re not perfect. We have dishwasher debates, food in room debates, we dance (and maybe twerk) in the kitchen and Bob doesnt understand it, we cry, we laugh, we learn — but we love. And that love is everything.

Happy Birthday to the littlest of my Littles. I thank God every day for your laughter, your health, your hugs, and the family we’ve built — messy, beautiful, and mine. 💕
