Marcus Jermaine McKinley, 18, of Rosemount has been charged with one count of 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct involving a minor female age 14.

Charges say McKinley was communicating online with the minor and a witness, and initially told the victim he was 15. At 2 a.m., the minor and witness took an Uber to a Lakeville residence where the r*pe occurred. The victim initially said no, but said she felt pressured.

McKinley was arrested on a warrant yesterday, and prosecutors recommended money bail of $60,000 with conditions (or $75,000 no conditions). However, another Gov. Tim Walz chaos agent, Dakota County Judge Krista Marks, ordered him released with zero bail due. McKinley is out of custody.

UPDATE: We've learned that McKinley is a junior at Eastview High School. At least one other parent said he was making moves on their 15-year-old daughter.
