MINNEAPOLIS FOODIES… this is your sign to RUN to La Mama Restaurant 🤤🔥🍉🍍

I’ve had a lot of amazing immigrant owned food spots across the Twin Cities, but La Mama absolutely delivered on EVERY level 👏🏽 The flavors here are BOLD, authentic, rich, savory, and completely unforgettable. This is NOT one of those places watering things down for the Minnesota palate 👀🔥

From watermelon juice served in an actual watermelon 🍉 to pineapple juice inside a REAL pineapple 🍍… the experience already had me hooked before the food even hit the table.

Then came the gyro, lamb and chicken kebabs, grilled salmon bites, fluffy rice, and one of the most flavorful spreads I’ve had in a minute 🤯🔥 Every bite felt homemade and packed with love.

And don’t even get me STARTED on the Biscoff cake 🍰😭

If you love authentic Mediterranean + Somali food, generous portions, and hidden gems in Minneapolis… add this to your list IMMEDIATELY 📍🔥

POV: your dirty soda addiction just evolved into protein sodas 😭🥤🔥

I went back to Bevvie () in Woodbury to try their “Bench Press” and WOWWWW 🤯 The regular drink already comes with Coke Zero, sugar free strawberry, banana, and chocolate protein… but I added marshmallow fluff and it took this thing to a WHOLE different level 🍓🍫☁️

It somehow tasted like a fizzy dessert and I’m already thinking about getting it again 👏🏽✨

I’m telling you right now… customizing drinks here is HALF the fun. The combinations are endless and every visit turns into a new obsession 😭

PLUS they have a rewards program AND happy hour from 4–7 with 20% off drinks 👀🔥

Finally made it to Khue’s Kitchen () and I’m honestly still thinking about this meal 🤯🔥🇻🇳

Completely blown away by how creative, comforting, and flavor packed everything was from start to finish. You can absolutely feel the passion and family legacy behind every single dish 👏🏽✨

We started with the cream cheese wontons, then had the spicy chicken sandwich with herb aioli and chili crunch that was INSANELY good 🍗🌶️ But the sticky jicama ribs?!? Easily one of the most unique and delicious things I’ve eaten all year. The texture, glaze, sesame, mint combo… 100/10 recommend immediately 😭🔥

And don’t even get me started on the Thai tea tres leches 🤤 Milk soaked chiffon cake, caramelized coconut cream, brown sugar boba… absolutely unreal.

Now I fully understand why Khue’s Kitchen was named Star Tribune’s 2025 Best New Restaurant 👏🏽 One of the most memorable meals I’ve had in the Twin Cities recently.

Bullvino’s is not just dinner… it’s a full experience. You start at a stacked gourmet salad bar with 40+ items… fresh salads, cheeses, cured meats, hot sides… honestly you could stop there (but don’t 😏)

Then you flip that card to green and it’s game over.

Gauchos start coming to your table carving fire roasted meats straight onto your plate… picanha, steak, chicken, pork, lamb… nonstop until you tap out.

And trust me… this is just part one 👀

Packed on arrival = you already know it’s about to hit 😮‍🔥🌮 Machete Cocina Mexicana

Pulled up to Machete Cocina Mexicana () in Woodbury with Sadie () and went ALL IN … margarita flight 🍹, chori queso 🧀, elote 🌽, loaded tacos 🌮, and that 21 INCH quesadillota 🤯 (yes it’s actually massive)

Everything was bold, flavorful, and just straight up satisfying … the kind of spot you bring your friends to when you’re trying to eat GOOD 👏🏽🔥

If you’re in Woodbury, this is your sign … come hungry and thank me later 😏✨

UPTOWN FOODIES… this late-night spot goes CRAZY 🤯🔥

Just got invited to try Sizzle Uptown () and this Egyptian-American owned halal comfort food spot is exactly what Minneapolis needed 🌯🍟🍗

We tried the 👇🏽👇🏽
Buffalo Chicken Fries 🔥
Creamy Chicken Alfredo 🍝
Loaded Steak Fries 🥩🍟
A stacked steak sandwich 🥪
AND the Lemon Pepper Wings 🍗🔥

Everything was fresh, heavy, flavorful, and perfect for those late-night cravings. And yes… they’re open LATE late 👀🌙

NEW HAPPY HOUR MENU at The Rabbit Hole () 🐇🍹🔥

I got invited back to check it out, so I brought Sadie () and Cyann () and we ordered basically everything we could off the happy hour menu… and it did NOT disappoint.

We tried the wings in dry rub, garlic parm, Korean spicy, and buffalo, pepperoni flatbread, chicken tinga street tacos, mini nachos, tots, and even grabbed the fried grape Uncrustables off the dessert menu because we needed something sweet… and wow that one surprised me 🤤🤤🤤

We also had a mix of happy hour + regular menu cocktails including the Duck Around and Find Out and the How Many Licks, and the drinks here are just as fun as the food.

If you’re looking for a fun Twin Cities happy hour with great food, strong drinks, and a vibe, this one needs to be on your list.
