Festival season is kicking off for The Boatman this fall! First off, Steppa Sound was awesome. They crushed their first year and treated me right. Biggups to them, was a privilege and I’m excited to see this fest continue. Biggups to Xeno for the incredible deployment. That rig is truly something else. It was a privilege.

I’ve got a couple announcements as well! Stoked to be making my way down to the Austin area to play Beyond Existence - going to rip a heavyweight late night set for you lot. I’m also playing a cool local fest here in Iowa called Lost Woods Music Festival as they dip their toes into some electronic music for the first time. Should be a dope time!

Big thanks to everybody supporting (especially those out in the heat on Sunday). Hope to see you all posted up on the stacks. Come through for the IowaTechno party on the 29th if you’re local!

Bass Music meets Street Sport tomorrow in Minneapolis! I’m bringing the Sublab Sound rig out to 📅MinniJam: July 10th-12th, 2026 tomorrow for some live music at a wicked Parkour sesh. 📅MinniJam: July 10th-12th, 2026 is bringing all sorts of equipment to do a wicked spot mod, and we’ll have Sami Knox, Isaiah Shutes and myself on the decks, alSami KnoxopIsaiah Shuteslocals who want to come spin some tunes!

This one is gonna be fun. Such a merging of worlds for me, and I am mad stoked to bring it all together. See you there!

A message from Hades - overlord Charon will be collecting souls during two rituals this fall.

IowaTechno has kindly volunteered their ritual space for the collection of any mortals passed this August the 29th in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Sub bass frequencies may cause corporeal entities to phase into the ether.

The next weekend Synesthesia Music & Arts Festival has put together an offering station with free obols for all souls looking for passage in Sturgis, SD on Labor Day weekend.

Be warned, passage to The Underworld is not known to be comfortable, and some subjects are known to atomize into ethereal mist when passage fees remain unpaid.

Do your best not to become ectoplasm and pay the cover.

Living souls, this is your opportunity to come hear original music from The Boatman and enjoy otherwise unheard infrabass frequencies, normally only audible to Cerberus himself.

(In all seriousness I am so fu***ng excited to play both of these events. I’ve wanted to play an IowaTechno party since moving to Iowa, and Synesthesia Music & Arts Festival is well known to be a prime time homie fest. Biggups to everyone who makes it possible to get me out for these.)

Back from Infrasound 🌳 🎶 with some dope announcements and feeling full of inspiration. This project continues to evolve and grow and shift and I couldn’t be happier about it.

First up, we’ve got Bass Journeys (brought to you by and ) happening out on The Land where we do Symmetry. That’s happening this weekend! Catch me pulling up Saturday night in front of a RIDICULOUS rig to play right before the legendary . Big homie hangs all weekend!

After that, we’ve got the .undgnd 5 Year Anniversary show with the dons .mnk and . They threw down at Infra this past weekend and I’m hyped to be on the bill with them. Also very stoked to play my first show with Iowa Underground and rip another rig just one weekend after.

More in the works, some music coming soon, and some banger sets inbound. Idk where the afters are but hit me up on that afterlife type beat.

Time for the announcement of the year 📆 ✨ I’ll be making my return to this fall and I couldn’t be more excited to continue to showcase the evolution of my project.

As those who know me know, this festival is a huge part of what my year orbits around and goes so far beyond just playing a set. From art installs to festival coordination, to somehow finding time to prepare a set of originals and homie tunes, Symmetry is truly an amalgamation of so many of my dreams.

An inadvertent tradition began year one after I played a closeout set on The Woods stage (back when it was still a renegade). That tradition solidified itself by complete accident after weather pushed my year 2 set to closing out the main stage - what a dream! So what does this mean?

This means I’ll be returning in our third year to close out the .digital stage. Expect a bit of a different set from the usual, with a focus on wave, emotional and vibrant bass music, and of course some of the usual heavyweight material to make those Voids bang.

To all my friends who haven’t made it down yet, holler at me. Let’s get you down to the corn fields to come close out the 2026 festival season. This set is going to be special, and the third year of Symmetry even more so!
