🇺🇸 Long before you knew me as Still Swaggy, I was an Airman.
Today, September 18, 2026, we celebrate the 79th birthday of the United States Air Force, established on September 18, 1947.
For our family, this celebration is personal. I served in the U.S. Air Force from 1989–1995, including active-duty service during the Gulf War. The years have passed, but the pride in having served has never left me.
Geralyn and I created “A Still Swaggy Salute” to honor that connection—and, more importantly, the generations of Airmen whose service deserves to be remembered.
The personal photographs come from my own collection: a flight-suit portrait, a moment with Lt. Gen. Chuck Horner in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, in 1990, and a reminder of the desert heat—a thermometer pegged at 120°F.
Featuring narration by both of us and the music “A Lifetime of Pride” by Still Swaggy, this is our thank-you to every Airman, past and present, and to the families who stand beside them.
79 years of airpower. A lifetime of pride.
Happy birthday, United States Air Force. To my fellow Airmen—thank you. 🇺🇸
