27 THINGS I’VE LEARNED at 27 💜💜
There’s so many new faces here & I’m so excited to have you!! My passion behind Well Said stems from loving to give advice and sharing everything I’ve learned in my life. 🫶🏼 so here are 27 things that I wanna share with you:
1. Make your home your little sanctuary. One item at a time that you save up for, but spend time making it special for yourself.
2. Trust your gut because it’ll always tell you the truth, and it knows when something feels off - so listen
3. Eat the cookie. Believe it or not it won’t ruin your workout routine or how far you’ve come. Restricting will.
4. Believe in yourself so that others can do the same. Even if you have to fake it. “Say it with your chest” lol
5. Lift heavy and add in some cardio, and you will feel the strongest and healthiest you’ve ever felt.
6. Say please, and thank you… Forever. Just as you want your efforts to be acknowledged, so do other people.
7. Approach everything with kindness. Even when it may be, wasn’t approached with kindness for you. Don’t repeat the pattern of someone else.
8. No, no one is waiting for you to fail. Everyone wants you to succeed, so so don’t get in your head
9. Confidence, ebbs and flows, but it’s important to talk yourself up and make sure you believe in yourself the most
10. Slow down, being in a rush, doesn’t make you productive and it definitely won’t make you better at what you’re doing
11. SLEEP & STRESS: get these two under control to live longer
12. Wear a sleep mask because it helps your mind not get distracted from light while you sleep
13. Eat as close to the ground as possible and wash your fruit
14. Advocate for yourself - for the raise, for the promotion, for the job. You have to do that so others can advocate for you.
15. Do not slack in your 20s - this is the time to be curious and try things to make a living
16. Write hand written cards because they mean a lot that you slow down in our busy world
17. Learn to have slow days because they’re good for you. Sundays are meant for recharge.
18. Long to do list does not mean productivity either. Get what needs to get done off your plate and then spend time recharging
