Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni posted a video response after President Trump claimed she “begged” him for a photo at the G7 summit.

In the video, Meloni called Trump’s comments “completely fabricated,” said she was “appalled” by the remarks, and questioned why he seems to reserve this kind of rhetoric for America’s allies rather than its adversaries.

The two leaders were once viewed as close political allies, making the public rebuke especially notable.

Italy’s foreign minister publicly defended Meloni and canceled a planned trip to the United States, while other senior Italian officials condemned Trump’s remarks as offensive to both Meloni and Italy.

Meloni ended her message with a line that quickly spread across social media:

Jake Lang remains in jail on a Texas terroristic threat charge after allegedly threatening to kill Karmelo Anthony outside the Collin County courthouse. A judge recently reduced his bond from $1 million to $250,000, but prosecutors are still pursuing the case based on video statements they say were direct threats.

Meanwhile, the drama around Lang hasn’t stayed in the courtroom. Women connected to him are now publicly feuding on social media, with accusations, insults, and claims about jail phone calls being aired in public as his legal troubles continue to unfold. SHOTS FIRED IN TIMES SQUARE HOURS AFTER KNICKS CHAMPIONSHIP PARADE

Thousands packed Manhattan Thursday to celebrate the Knicks’ championship parade, but the mood shifted later in the afternoon when a large fight broke out near West 45th Street and Eighth Avenue in Times Square.

Police say a 26-year-old man was slashed during the melee, and a 17-year-old allegedly fired multiple shots before being taken into custody. Despite the gunfire, no one was struck by the bullets. The stabbing victim was transported to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition, and officers recovered a firearm at the scene.

Jake Lang Bond Reduced to $250K

A Texas judge has reduced Jake Lang’s bond from $1 million to $250,000 after he was charged with making a terroristic threat against Karmelo Anthony. Prosecutors allege Lang was recorded outside the courthouse saying Anthony would not be “playing basketball” and threatening a “headshot,” before allegedly confirming he intended to kill him.

The court imposed several conditions if Lang is released, including a GPS monitor, a mental health evaluation, and a ban on entering Texas except for court appearances. During the hearing, prosecutors pointed to Lang’s fundraising efforts, while the defense argued the original bond amount was excessive.

President Trump is escalating his pressure campaign on Senate Republicans, calling for the filibuster to be eliminated and demanding immediate passage of the SAVE America Act:

“Anybody who doesn’t want to Terminate the Filibuster is a FOOL, a very stupid one, at that! The Dumocrats will end it within minutes of taking office, and then rapidly proceed to destroy our Country, adding 2 Radical Left States, 4 Dumocrat Senators, many Congressmen/women, their dream of 21 Supreme Court Justices (Not just 13, an unlucky number!), an impossible to beat number of Electoral College Votes (and that’s the Ballgame!),

Tom Evenstad, who is currently campaigning for governor of Minnesota, was met with a less-than-warm reception outside the Warren E. Burger Federal Building during a rally supporting the 15 people recently indicted in connection with Operation Metro Surge.

Evenstad, who was convicted of ra**ng an 18-year-old woman and later pleaded guilty to stalking multiple people connected to that case, spent part of the event filming protesters. Many in the crowd recognized him and responded with horns, chants, and cameras of their own, making it clear they did not want him in the space.

After the event, Evenstad emailed Mercado Media threatening legal action over coverage and criticism. The email included personal insults directed at me while again insisting he is a legitimate candidate for governor of Minnesota.
