We have to take a minute (and are going to take the next few days) to talk about Robert. Our friend, collaborator, and risograph tech. Robert has been instrumental in building the Workshop for Independent Publishing with us over the past year. From brainstorming and envisioning a community printshop, to physically building it out, to helping us maintain our vintage riso equipment. Robert has poured his hands, heart, and mind into WIP along with countless other artist run community print shops across the country! Over the next four days we’re moving Robert from Seattle to Minneapolis! Help us support Robert in making the Midwest his home base. Toss a few bucks into the communal hat so we can all take care of one of our own. Road trip documentation to come!

When laser and riso meet. Sunflower and orange augment B&W photocopies across Bye Anita: You Won’t Be Remembered Without Us. This zine shares the history of Anita Bryant’s bigotry and highlights the gay and le***an community’s responses to her in the late 1970s. It celebrates that even in death, Bryant is inextricably linked to the community she spent her whole life hating. Snag a copy in our shop!

We could not be more proud to publish ’s new book, Nightmares & Dreams on Progesterone: Action Art Scores for Trans Becoming. First, it is incredibly hot tr*******al art. Second, it’s our first book-length publication. This book is an essential call to action for trans becoming. Get yourself and friends some copies.

When Lorelei d’Andriole started taking progesterone as part of hormone replacement therapy, she experienced the uncommon side effect of vivid dreams and nightmares. Her dream journal became the unstable source material for this book, a sequence of fluxus-inspired scores for action art—the artist’s term for performances that leave the realm of theory, becoming action. The book is simultaneously a set of instructions for becoming a tr*******al woman, and documentation of the live performances it records.

Anti-gay rights crusader Anita Bryant died on December 16, 2024. News of her death was made public on January 9, 2025. Headlines announcing her death from newspapers and media sites throughout the country, underscore her homophobia, making her anti-gay activism a defining characteristic of her legacy. This zine celebrates that even in death, Bryant is inextricably linked to the community she spent her whole life hating.

This zine will ship by the end of March 2025.
