Here's a positive moment for your scroll. This year for National Coming Out Day I got to support an event held by Twin Cities Quorum! During the event these three superstars all took to the stage and each gave different but inspiring speeches about the importance of being your authentic self at a time when your authenticity might not be appreciated. Given all the recent news I really appreciated their messages. Never be afraid to be yourselves!

(In the past I have spoken at this event so towards the end I welcomed myself into the stage for a photo. Because of course I did 📸)

I hosted a fundraiser for !
With the help of 33 volunteers we raised ~$12,000 in just one morning at our Donor Brunch. And it was a great time! I have a little speech, listened to some concerns, and - of course - took charge of collecting checks!

Remember when social media was pure fun!?
Over the last 5 years I've had to deal with the police maybe or maybe not impersonating people to influence my political campaign (look it up), Meta censoring my content because I'm *gasp* married to another man, watching what I do or say to avoid shadow bans, and who knows what else.

So I decided to spend more time creating and less time worrying. That line of reasoning took me to YouTube where I'm finally having fun again. It's A LOT more work but also A LOT more rewarding for me!

Lately I've been vlogging the renovation of our new house. We're dealing with the real life drama of our contractor raising his prices right as things are scheduled to wrap up. That's led to me taking up a hammer and doing some of the work myself! That's also how I ended up with your fantastic selfie 🤳🏾

(I've already hammered my finger. Ouch.)

After the renovation slows down I think that we'll start experimenting with streams, travel videos, cooking videos... everything is on the table.

Max is getting married! 🥲
We had a quick boys weekend in Brooklyn to celebrate getting engaged! Joe and Tyler were EXCEPTIONAL hosts and took us to their favorite spots in between Max's suit fitting, a great deal of wine tasting, and a 3 mile best bagel and coffee in Brooklyn tour 🥯☕
