💥Meet Our Team Monday 💥We’re excited to kick off our new weekly series, Meet Our Team Monday! Anyone who has seen our team in action knows we have an insanely multi-talented (and slightly spooky) crew here at Grey Duck Paranormal, and we can’t wait to formally introduce each member to all of you.

We’re starting things off with one of our co-founders… Griffin!

A lifelong creative, Griffin graduated from Anoka High School in Minnesota in 2004 before earning his Bachelor’s in VFX and Motion Graphics from The Art Institutes International Minnesota. Never one to stop learning, he later went back for a degree in Animation.

By day, Griffin works with a team of designers and programmers creating interactive marketing and training experiences for a major HVAC company. His nights and weekends are spent channeling that same creativity into Grey Duck Paranormal as a camera operator and lead video editor, capturing haunted history and the occasional unexplained bump in the night.

When he’s not behind the camera, Griffin is living his best life with his partner in adventure and biggest supporter, Rachel. Together Griffin and Rachel have a beautiful life revolving around family, friends and their feline crew. Grif proudly embraces his role as a devoted (and often outnumbered) cat dad. 🐈🐾🐈‍⬛

Griffin is drawn to the paranormal for many reasons. One of the biggest reasons being how ghost stories bring people together. He loves hearing others share their own eerie experiences and seeing historic places in a new light.

Every story has a spirit… some of them just refuse to leave. 😉

Some of our favorite things about Grif:
The calming and steady presence he brings everywhere he goes
The ability to remain objective and skeptical when needed
The attention to detail and love he puts into everything he touches
His sense of humor (seriously, he can make Grady laugh like no one else can)
The way he looks at Rachel 🥹🩷

Why Being a Sceptic is Essential in Paranormal Investigations 👻

In the world of paranormal investigations, it’s easy to get swept up in every sound, shadow, or strange occurrence… but here’s the truth:
Being a sceptic is one of the most valuable tools an investigator can have.

Why? Because it keeps us grounded, objective, and focused on uncovering genuine evidence — not just accepting every experience at face value. 👀

A healthy dose of scepticism helps rule out natural explanations for things that might initially seem unexplainable. During my investigations, I meticulously check for drafts, faulty wiring, reflections, or environmental factors that could mimic “paranormal” activity. By eliminating possible causes, I can be more confident in the evidence that remains. 👻

This approach isn’t about disproving the paranormal — it’s about seeking the truth. Each investigation is a careful balance between belief and analysis, ensuring that any evidence I present is as authentic as possible.

So, the next time you see me exploring the haunted and unknown, remember…
I’m not just looking for ghosts — I’m looking for the truth. 👻✨
