Tom and Clare's Wedding was filled with lots of personal touches including Brennan's Reel, a classic Irish Song I slowed down in Audacity for the Processional for their ceremony, and then brought the song back full circle ending the lively night with the Reel at regular speed to celebrate the Irish heratige of the family. Beautiful Wedding! Jiayi and Brent met and worked through an Accounting firm together and and built a strong bond with the help of some persistent matchmaker friends over the years and blended their families into this special day. Family from Jiyai's side came from China just for the special occasion. We played some Chinese artists during the cocktail and reception 🥳

Setup is finally dialed in for outdoor ceremonies - To increase signal strength in outdoor ceremonies, I invested in some Sennheiser Antenna extenders and can now hoist them up for uninterrupted signal - no matter the distance!

Last Tuesday, I performed at Greater East Side's National Night Out event and had a blast! It was a full-circle moment being back at the park when I performed a major build day last year when they built the playground. So cool to see kids climbing all over it! The event had tons of activities for kids and these passports (pictured) were stamped at stations which, when they were filled out, I got to announce kids names for prizes when they were completed 🤩 after one announcement of prizes, I had tons by the end of the night. Tons of fun, that's what it's all about!

Moving into a new phase of running RBE full-time as an entrepreneur and full-time artist is a new experience for me. Shifting gears into working for myself is what i'm ready for, but carries a lot of uncertainty about what the future will look like. I remember this Coach Carter quote as something that drives me moving into this phase and my motivation for this rebranding process:

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.

We are all meant to shine as children do. It's not just in some of us; it is in everyone.

And as we let our own lights shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.

As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

Another beautiful wedding and beautiful couple. Sophia and Coleman had an inspirational journey of resiliency and love to get to their special day. From Bumble to long distance through grad school to their proposal where Coleman experienced a life changing injury 30 minutes after proposing. Side-by-side, they stuck through it and made it to their special day and exchanged some beautiful vows. Played tons of Post Malone for Coleman and ended the night with Could You Be Loved for Sophia's dad, who is a huge reggae/Marley fan.

It's those personal touches and meaningful moments that moves River Beats Entertainment forward. More of these moments coming up in 2025/2026!
