Minneapolis police did door-to-door searches near the intersection of 36th and Penn avenues on Monday afternoon after 4th Precinct officers reported being shot at from a passing car.

There were no injuries from the incident on Oliver Avenue North, and the suspect remained at large as of Monday night, police said. Police said the targeted officers did not return fire.

Residents were ordered to shelter in place during the search. Police said the suspect was a passenger in the vehicle. They described the suspect as a Black male in his late teens with thick locks, wearing a pink sweatshirt.

If seen, police advise not to approach but to call 911.

The Minneapolis Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 10-year-old boy last seen in north Minneapolis

Jayceon Rogers of Brooklyn Park was visiting family this afternoon and was last seen around 5 p.m. today in the 2500 block of 6th ST N.

Jayceon is a black male, standing about 4'6" and weighs about 80 lbs. He has brown eyes and black dreadlocks with red/orange tips. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and beige jogging pants.

Anyone with any information about this case is asked to call 911.

High school graduates and their families are celebrating. North High School is celebrating its climb in graduation rates.
