📣 We’re Moving — and It Means Everything for Our Community 📦🐾

This fall, My Pit Bull is Family is opening the doors to our new Community Resource Hub in North Minneapolis — and we couldn’t be more excited to share this next chapter with you.

For years, our small but mighty space has served as a lifeline for thousands of pet-loving families — providing food, supplies, support, and connection. But as the need in our community has grown, so has the urgency for something bigger.

Our new location expands our footprint by 8x — giving us the space and flexibility to:
🛒 Launch a human-centered food shelf to meet the broader needs of families
🐶 Expand our pet resource center to serve more households, more often
🩺 Offer more clinics and wellness events to keep pets healthy and safe
🤝 Create a welcoming, accessible space where people and pets are supported without judgment

This isn’t just a move. It’s a turning point for the families who’ve waited in line with hope. For the parents who’ve faced impossible choices to keep both their children and pets fed. For the neighbors who’ve leaned on us during some of their hardest days.

And to everyone who squeezed into our cozy little lobby — bumping elbows, sharing stories, and building community shoulder to shoulder — this one’s for you. ❤️

We can’t wait to fill this new space with love, laughter, and community — but we can’t do it without you. Whether it’s through a donation, volunteering, or sharing our story — we need your help to bring this vision to life.

P.S. We’re not saying goodbye to our little slice of paradise in Webber-Camden. We’re transforming our current space into a Community-Centered Thrift Store for both people and pets — more details coming soon! But for now - our North Minneapolis Pet Resource Center will continue operate as usual on the corner of 44th ave N & Girard Ave N.
