Cartwheel, a leading enterprise delivery management platform for restaurants, is expanding its collaboration with WOWorks, the parent company of such restaurant brands as Saladworks and Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh. WOWorks will integrate Cartwheel’s delivery management platform with ezCater, the food tech platform for workplaces in the US.

“Our franchisees were already asking for solutions to streamline delivery operations, and we acted quickly to meet that need,” said Kyle Mark, CIO of WOWorks, in a statement. “This integration with ezCater and Cartwheel ensures our locations can compete effectively while providing the real-time tracking that today’s business catering customers expect.”

It’s a universal truth shared by operators: costs are infringing on profits, more now than ever. From food to labor, it seems like everything is more expensive. That’s where Qu comes in with its kiosks, which have the potential to make operations more profitable. And now it has new features to squeeze the orange even more.

According to Qu’s 2025 State of Digital report, 62 percent of restaurant brands now use or plan to adopt kiosk technology — up from 43 percent a year ago — including 80 percent of QSRs and more than half of fast casual brands.

Known for being “always open,” Waffle House is taking that promise a step further with nationwide delivery via DoorDash.

Customers can now order everything from classic waffles to hashbrowns between 9 p.m. and 8 a.m., with some locations offering delivery 24/7.

“At Waffle House, we’ve built our brand on consistency, hospitality, and being there for our customers, day or night,” said Patrick Marshburn, executive vice president at Waffle House. “DoorDash allows us to extend that same dependable experience beyond our restaurant walls, making it easier than ever for guests to enjoy the Waffle House comfort they love, from the comfort of their home.”
