Have you ever heard of NASA's golden record, part of the Voyager interstellar space exploration efforts which were launched by NASA in September 1977? The culmination of the effort was two space probes Voyager 1 & 2 which departed earth 16 days a part. Included on the vessels was a golden record which included sounds, images and instructions on how to use the included record player. The Voyager space crafts are still confirmed operational and are in interstellar space over 12 billion miles from earth. They are estimated to have operational power until 2025-2030 when they will cease to operate and will presumably float through the milk way without power. Here are the sounds included on the record. These guys were fun to work with, I did over 1,500 shows with them. My coworkers and I estimated that between us we had done over 3,000 local and traveling performances. The show ran for six years straight and still pops up time and again. This trailer is for a past opening in 2010.
