Yet, how do you maintain this frequency amid chaos or distress?

Living in the 'wonder-suit' of a human body can be a wild rideโ€”sometimes thrilling, sometimes daunting. We often navigate life through the lens of our limited human identity, which tends to spin tales of fear and undesired outcomes.

But there is another way.

For me, itโ€™s the moments in Natureโ€”teaching my granddaughter Lilah to connect with the grounding wisdom of trees, writing in the quiet embrace of the forest, or allowing the busy mind to soften. I feel more alive when I rest in the arms of Nature and hear her whisper a profound truth: we are limitless and deeply connected to something greater.

Through Lilaโ€™s first year, every chance I get, I take her to the forest. I teach her about this powerful wisdom teacher and source of instantaneous joy, beauty, and liberation.

One of the greatest gifts of volunteering in hospice was receiving this profound wisdom: those nearing the end of their journey shared a nearly unanimous clarityโ€”๐’•๐’‰๐’† ๐’’๐’–๐’‚๐’๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐’๐’‡ ๐’“๐’†๐’๐’‚๐’•๐’Š๐’๐’๐’”๐’‰๐’Š๐’‘๐’” ๐’‚๐’๐’… ๐’Ž๐’†๐’‚๐’๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ๐’‡๐’–๐’ ๐’†๐’™๐’‘๐’†๐’“๐’Š๐’†๐’๐’„๐’†๐’” were foremost in defining a life well-lived. Career milestones were acknowledged and celebrated, yet in their final reflections, it was the quality of valued relationships and the richness of experiences that truly mattered.

The photos are of two dear friends, Patty and Bradโ€”colleagues from 15 years ago. Though our professional paths have diverged, we've chosen to keep our connection alive and invest in these treasured moments. Itโ€™s one way I nurture what truly matters to me: cherished bonds with family and friends.
