Happy New Year everyone!
People have often asked me where the tagline for Atomic K Productions came from:
Sight. Sound. Story.
It's really quite simple. These three words sum up what we do...and we do them well.
Sight. - We create and capture visual media. We do this through both photography and videography with a cinematic approach to capture moments in time. But, we also have foresight to visualize "what could be" to elevate any brand.
Sound. - We create and capture sonic media through recording and live event sound...always listening to enhance what will move people.
Story. - In Broadcast journalism, story is the essence of a person, place or thing, neatly packaged into a quickly and easily understood topic of interest. A story isn't just a collection of facts. It is those facts, combined with elements of humanity, which help to convey emotions that prompt an empathetic response. It is a combination of the the first two disciplines, artfully crafted, to "feel" the facts.
As we embark on yet another uncertain year, one thing we can be sure of is that things will need to be seen, truths will need to be heard, and stories will need to be told.
