After nearly 15 years as a professional fighter, the UFC learned exactly why they call you “Danger.”

I’ve known you since we were teenagers, and it’s been incredible watching your journey. I got to see you rise through the ranks of MMA while I was finding my own path in journalism. One of the highlights of my career was getting the opportunity to interview you and tell little about your story. It felt like a full circle moment seeing one of Shreveport’s finest thrive on the biggest stage in mixed martial arts.

Your accomplishments go far beyond wins and losses. You’ve represented yourself, your family, Shreveport, all of Louisiana, and the UFC with class, toughness, and professionalism every step of the way.

I know your family is beyond proud of everything you’ve accomplished, and I know you’ve made all of us back home proud too.

I’m excited to see what this next chapter holds for you as you help train and inspire the next generation of fighters. The impact you’ve made on this sport will continue long after your final fight.

Enjoy retirement bro. You’ve earned it.

: Dr. Mehmet Oz has emerged as one of the latest names to appear in documents connected to Jeffrey Epstein. According to newly released records, Dr. Oz and his wife are listed as having sent a Paperless Post invitation to Epstein for a Valentine’s Day dinner in 2016.

The revelation surfaces years after Epstein pleaded guilty to criminal charges involving s*x offenses.

The development places another current member of the Trump administration among individuals whose names have appeared in the Epstein related files.
