Ingredients
For the Beef
1½ lbs ground beef (or thin-sliced steak strips)
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp Italian seasoning
For the Fettuccine
12 oz fettuccine pasta
For the Garlic Butter Parmesan Sauce
3 tbsp butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
½ cup mozzarella (optional for extra creaminess)
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Salt & pepper to taste
½ cup reserved pasta water (only if needed)
Optional Garnish
Fresh parsley
Extra Parmesan
Black pepper

Instructions
1. Cook the Fettuccine
Boil fettuccine in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
2. Brown the Beef
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high.
Add ground beef, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
Cook until browned and no longer pink, then remove from the pan.
3. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
In the same skillet, melt the butter.
Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (30 seconds).
Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, whisking to combine.
Stir in Parmesan (and mozzarella, if using) until smooth and creamy.
Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
4. Combine
Add cooked fettuccine and beef back into the skillet.
Toss until everything is coated in the creamy garlic butter sauce.
Use reserved pasta water to thin the sauce if needed.
5. Serve
Plate and top with fresh parsley, cracked black pepper, and extra parmesan.
