Cheddar Steak Bite Tortellini with Roasted Garlic Cream 🥩🧄🧀🍝
Juicy seared steak bites and tender cheese tortellini tossed in a silky roasted garlic–cheddar cream sauce. It’s a bold, cozy skillet pasta that brings steakhouse richness with cheesy comfort—ready in just 30 minutes! 🥩🔥🧄🧀🍝
🛒 Ingredients:
12 oz cheese tortellini (fresh or frozen)
1.25 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-size pieces
Salt & black pepper, to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1 head roasted garlic (or 6 cloves, roasted & mashed)
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup beef broth
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1 tbsp chopped parsley (plus more for garnish)
👨🏾🍳 Instructions:
Cook the Tortellini:
Boil tortellini according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
Sear the Steak:
Season steak bites with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak for 1–2 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.
Build the Garlic Cream Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt butter. Mash in roasted garlic and stir until fragrant. Add heavy cream and beef broth, letting it simmer 2–3 minutes.
Add the Cheddar:
Whisk in shredded cheddar until smooth and creamy. Stir in Italian seasoning.
Combine Everything:
Return steak and tortellini to the skillet. Toss until well coated in the roasted garlic–cheddar sauce.
Finish & Serve:
Top with parsley and extra cheddar if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
