My 6th year of breast cancer survivorship continued this past Thursday with (another!) biopsy, my first since 2021! 💉 I had a benign radiology and clinical exam result at Rochester in January 2026 for 2 “nodules / lesions” on my chest wall, and my breast clinic doctor referred me to my local dermatologist to 1) remove the bumps and 2) have them sent to pathology to confirm a benign result.

My dermatologist took both “nodules / lesions” from my chest wall in her office with local anesthesia (with classic rock music playing over the speakers, how cool is that?! 🤘 🎶 😎 👩🏻‍⚕️) and sent them to pathology to “rule out metastases.” 🙏

While I wait for pathology results, I’ve got a 2 inch incision and 6 stitches in my chest and can’t lift anything heavier than a milk carton 🥛 I can’t work out or raise my heart rate significantly for 2 weeks (!) 🏋️‍♀️ so I’m in a brief season of “forced rest,” and am comforted by the reminders of God’s faithful presence with me through the 27 mammograms, 6 MRIs, 1 CT scan, 5 biopsies, several ultrasounds, and major surgery (double mastectomy with direct to implant reconstruction) I’ve had over the past 6 years. 🙏

Just like I posted last month!, Jesus never leaves us alone on any mountain 🏔️ or in any valley 🏜️ and I know, no matter this test result!, God is always our faithful healer, redeemer, and friend! 🙏😇❤️‍🩹

“I would have despaired had I not believed that I would see the goodness of the Lord In the land of the living. Wait for and confidently expect the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for and confidently expect the Lord.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭27‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“A Daily Miracle”

A Daily Miracle was launched in 2012 and publishes faith-based posts on various topics ranging from faith, arts, culture, politics, media, health, and marketing to entertainment and international missions work. Most recently, in September 2019, my twin sister and I were diagnosed with breast cancer within 3 weeks of each other, at age 30. We both chose to be treated for our breast cancer(s) at Mayo Clinic's Breast Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and are so grateful we've been able to work with some of the best doctors in the world. Here are links to each of the posts so far:

My Breast Cancer Journey Part 17: 'Pigmented Purpura,' 'Breast Implant Illness,' Ovarian Cancer Screening & My Sister's Fifth Chemotherapy Infusion

My Breast Cancer Journey Part 16: I'm a Month Into Surgical Recovery & My Twin Sister is Halfway Done With Chemotherapy!

My Breast Cancer Journey Part 15: I'm (Surgically) Cured, I'm BRCA Negative & I'm a 31-Year-Old Survivor!
