Everyone has been asking if the Snow Daze dance will be happening this year. With COIVD cases rising, the dance will most likely not be happening this year. Paul Menge Upper School Assistant Director said, “I think the reality is as much as everybody would like to have something, there is just so many parameters we have to have in place for everyone’s safety.” The dance would be too much of a risk with the COVID spike in Minnesota right now. Precious Jones ‘22 said, “I’ve only been to one [Snow Daze dance] because all of my high school career has been impacted [by COVID].” This news is unfortunate for the class of 2022 but there may be something fun in the works as an alternative to the Snow Daze dance. Jen Vance 9th Grade Dean said, “The Snow Daze dance used to be apart of a full fun Snow Daze week.” Hopefully there is something in the works to try and bring this back!
