T'was the night before Halloween when all through the reptile house, everyone was excited except for this mouse.
The shed skins were hung to dry overnight, in the hopes that a redneck wouldn't bring them a fright.
The snakes were all nestled all snug in their hides, while visions of candied rats danced just outside.
The great snake pumpkin arrived just this moment, and passed out goodies to all those who hissed 'trick-or-rodent'.
And as it grew late and his job was done, a call rang out from the great snake pumpkin,
All the herps heard it coiled on the heat in their bins, “Herpy Halloween to all reptiles, and to the amphibians!”
