Just an update: We sent a $275 gift certificate from Mineo's Pizza in Squirrel Hill to the Newsroom of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, a pay-it-forward gesture that was afforded our Newsroom after the I-35W bridge collapse. (That gesture was from The Oklahoman.) While P-G journalists tirelessly covered the synagogue shootings, their owners are up to this. BTW, they donated our gift certificate to the Jewish Community Center of Squirrel Hill, continuing to give back to their community, even though they haven't had a raise in nearly 13 years. We stand with them.

We stand in solidarity and love with our colleagues at the Newspaper Guild of Pittsburgh.
