Hurricane Isaias ripped the roof off an apartment complex in Milton, Florida, sending it crashing into a strip of nearby businesses. I spoke with one business owner who has owned the property since the 1980s. Now, he’s facing extensive damage without insurance to cover the cost of repairs. The storm left the apartment complex exposed to the sky and nearby businesses in ruins.
