and flew in to Mpls for their first Back to the 50s experience and and I had the Sukert coupe prepped and cleaned up for their arrival.

flew in for the newly announced opening… he got the keys to the 32%er roadster … I thought that was appropriate as it’s had a So Cal chassis under it for 25 years.

On the way home from the So Cal open house celebration we stopped by the best bar in the city for a (few) beers. It was the start of a very fun (and HOT) weekend for sure!

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Craig Armstrong at BTT50s last weekend. He is the current caretaker of “Big Ed” Belkengren’s absolutely bitchin 3-window. The car could NOT be in better hands. The car was parked at the booth, where Ed always parked and hung out (along side his flamed red roadster). I believe he was with us in spirit.
