A rare Jurassic fish hidden in limestone—slow erosion revealing perfectly preserved, jet-black scales from 180 million years ago 🐟🦴

Hildoceras ammonite washed out of this old landslide 🦴
Watch as I carefully chisel it open and see what’s been hidden inside for millions of years.

Two EPIC fossil finds from the past 🤯🦴
First — an incredible bone block containing a Jurassic spine.
Then I crack open an iridescent ammonite… and the colours are unreal ✨

Some finds you never forget.

The sea revealed this fossil 🌊

Buried in the cliffs for 180 million years, then carefully prepared by hand — every move matters to avoid damage.

Watch closely as the details are revealed…

A lucky past hunt 🍀

Found two awesome nodules inside fallen shale slabs on the same day — each one containing an ammonite that had weathered out of the cliffs.

Picked up a strange nodule from a stream — didn’t look like much at first.
One crack later… POP.
A Hildoceras ammonite hiding inside, washed off in a rock pool to bring out the detail.

This is why I always stop and check 👀
Millions of years old, found where you least expect it.

Picked up what looked like a tiny pebble on the beach…
turned out to be a rare Asteoceras ammonite 😳

Prepped it at home with an air pen + air abrasion and honestly…
the smallest finds really do hit different.

Would you have spotted this? 👀

I thought this was fossilised wood…
Turns out it’s an ichthyosaur jaw 🤯
The teeth grow out in different directions, and they’re perfectly preserved.
Already uncovered four teeth — and there could be more inside…
