I met Gordy at this year’s Høstfest when he approached Lindsey Miller, KMOT Reporter and I to tell us how great of a job we do at KMOT.

Then I asked him what he did at Høstfest.

And from there, I was just amazed when he said he’s been performing at the festival since the 80s. I just knew I had to interview him right then and there. So, we propped up our camera and started rolling. And I’m so glad we did. His energy was infectious. He called Høstfest the happiest place on earth. He just wanted everyone else to be happy, too.

We’ll ‘keep smiling’ for you, Gordy! 🕊️
