Our Osaka trip continues as we head to the city's Shinsekai district. Our adventure begins at the iconic Tsutenkaku Tower, where we take the elevator up to the observation deck for panoramic views of the entire city. Inside, we discover the famous Billiken statue, the "god of things as they ought to be," and learn why rubbing his feet is supposed to bring good luck. After descending from the tower, we dive into the streets of Shinsekai. We explore the food scene, check out the local establishments, and enjoy the vibe of this working-class neighborhood. OSAKA HERE WE COME! But first, we're experiencing the legendary Shinkansen bullet train, traveling nearly 500 kilometers (about 310 miles) in just over 2 hours!
