Síbín is tucked inside the Great Scotland Yard Hotel and takes inspiration from the illicit Irish drinking establishments that gave the bar its name. Wh**ky is the star here, with a collection from around the world alongside signature cocktails.

Westminster Abbey officially welcomes people for private prayer and reflection during Abbey opening times. You can approach the Great West Door and speak with one of the Abbey marshals, who can direct you.

This isn’t a way to sneak in for free sightseeing.

If you’re going in to pray, treat it as exactly that: enter respectfully, take the quiet moment you came for, and then leave. Regular worship services are also open to everyone free of charge.

Let’s not ruin something meaningful for the people who genuinely use it.

🇬🇧 The sign outside isn’t lying... there really WAS a suit company here.

Discount Suit Company opened inside what was once the storeroom of the old tailor business above, and even kept its name as a tribute to the original shop.

Today, it’s a tiny East London cocktail bar serving classically inspired drinks alongside Northern Soul and vintage rock ‘n’ roll.

One of those places we’d probably never wander into without knowing the secret first.

Head into the legendary Harrods Food Halls instead and pick up a box of their colorful chocolate bonbons.

The Chocolate Hall’s bonbons are made by Harrods chocolatiers with glossy shells and fillings ranging from passionfruit caramel to raspberry and vanilla marshmallow, lemon and hazelnut, and plenty more.

They’re beautiful, delicious, distinctly Harrods, and MUCH more exciting to bring home than another keychain.

🇬🇧 There aren’t many places where you can casually have a pint directly beneath one of the world’s most famous bridges.

The Vault 1894 is a family-run pub tucked beneath Tower Bridge on Shad Thames, giving you one of the coolest settings for a drink while sightseeing around this part of London.

Grab a pint, take in the riverside setting, and enjoy the fact that thousands of tourists are walking around one of London’s biggest landmarks without realizing this little pub is right underneath them.

House of MinaLima is the London home of MinaLima, the design studio founded by Miraphora Mina and Eduardo Lima, whose graphic work helped create the visual world of the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films.

Beyond being a shop, it’s a chance to see their artwork and designs up close while browsing prints, books, stationery, collectibles, and some very dangerous-to-your-wallet souvenirs.

And it’s right in Soho!

The Vault is hidden beneath 3 Greek Street in Soho, with its entrance concealed behind a bookcase inside the wh**ky bar upstairs.

Once you’re downstairs, it’s tiny, cozy, and exactly the kind of place that makes discovering a hidden bar so much fun.

Definitely one to know about before your next night out in Soho.

🇬🇧 If there’s one thing you eat at Borough Market, make a very strong case for THIS.

Kappacasein is one of London’s actual cheesemakers, producing raw-milk cheese locally and serving its famous hot food at Borough Market.

Their toasted cheese sandwich is everything grilled cheese should be: crispy, buttery bread surrounding a ridiculously gooey center with onion, leek, and garlic.

Simple food executed VERY, very well.

Mr. Fogg’s Apothecary takes the eccentric Victorian world of Phileas Fogg and turns it into a cocktail bar filled with cabinets, curiosities, mysterious bottles, and plenty of theatrical details. It’s located on Brook Street in Mayfair, opposite Claridge’s.

It’s one of those bars where exploring the room is almost as entertaining as drinking what’s in your glass.

Definitely add this one to your London bar crawl!
