This is Tim. He walks a mile for every year old he is on his birthday. I am going to make sure I actually join him next year.
Tim was in a band called Are They Indigo? 20 years ago. My brother showed me their CD, "So There's These Two Penguins.". I didn't know local bands existed before that.
Tim hired me 4 years ago to run sound for two stages at Michigan City Oktoberfest. I owned two speakers and a crusty old analog board. I subcontracted one to Tres and used the money to buy a subwoofer, which I then blew within a month using it for DJs at Langlab for Meech. Since then I have bought a bunch of used gear and some new gear and am booked 60+ days this year running live sound.
His slightly newer but now defunct band 4 years ago recorded "We Are The Village Green Preservation Society". It was one of a few songs that didn't make the Kinks tribute album and I felt bad about it. His new band, That Homegrown Halloween Show, recorded a new cover song that will be released October 1st that is the first single for a new project.
