They’re (hopefully) sleeping right now, so let’s flood this thread with some well-deserved kudos for our 3rd Detail officers to read once they wake up!
From the start to the end of their shifts, midnight officers responded to a total of 116 calls for service overnight. To put that into perspective, the past four Friday night shifts have averaged about 72 calls for service.
Their shift overnight included a double-shooting (with an arrest) and several other firearm-related arrests and recoveries.
Thank you to our officers, detectives and dispatchers at St Joseph County 9-1-1 for working hard to keep our city safe while most of us sleep.
