Last week I crocheted my first Market Bag 🙂

Not too shabby for my first go around and I'm looking forward to lining it and making more!

Who knew this Grandma hobby would literally turn into crochet therapy for me!

I'm not one to vent and tangent when things get tough.. I tend to go inward and spend a great deal of time reflecting, searching, praying and resolving quietly...so this has been therapeutic really.

I just want to say that If things in any area of your life are tough right now, you are not alone.

You're not invisible. I see you.
Even when others are louder than you, you are heard.
If everything you're doing doesn't seem to be working and confusion on what direction to take next has gripped you, now is the time to realize you are right where you are supposed to be.

This moment. Right now. The struggle. Clarity is often born through the struggle.

So ask the clarifying questions. Reflect.
Take the time to exhale and pray that all would be orchestrated according to God's promises on your life.

Do what is necessary in this moment.
Pray.
Take action.
Rest.
Confide.
Reset.
Reflect.
Rejoice.

You will make it through to the other side of this. This is the breakthrough moment.

Healing is easier in safe company.

Proverbs 27:17 says, “As iron sharpens iron…”

But sharpening isn’t gentle. It’s intentional.

The right friends will challenge you. Stretch you and call you higher. ✨

Not to shame or to expose you.
Not rush you.

If you’re rebuilding your identity…
if you’re protecting your peace…
if you’re guarding your marriage…
if you’re learning to rest instead of strive…

You cannot afford circles that gossip more than they grow. 🙌🏼

Choose women who value holiness over hype.
Peace over drama and prayer over performance.

And Sis, remember this... you don’t just need roof-ripping friends. You need table-building friends.

Women who help you build something that lasts.

I'm just going to call it out right now

I don’t want surface friendships anymore.
I don’t want small talk without substance.
I don’t want competition disguised as connection.
I don’t want gossip labeled as “girl time.”

I want DEPTH.
I want women who are growing, healing, becoming the next version of themselves.
I want the praying, stretching, learning girls around me!

You know what I mean?!
Women who celebrate each other loudly, who speak life behind closed doors and protect one another’s names. ✨

Sisterhood isn’t about proximity.
It’s about alignment and heart.
It’s about covenant-level loyalty.

If we’re walking together, let’s walk with purpose. 🫶🏼

I didn’t always handle conflict well.

I used to shut down quickly. Replay conversations. Over-explain myself.

But I’ve learned that not every reaction deserves a response....and I'm not talking about giving anyone a silent treatment.

I'm talking about living out “A gentle answer turns away wrath.” — Proverbs

Sis, calm isn’t weakness. ✨
It’s maturity.
And maturity is built quietly over time.

There was a season I felt behind.

Behind in life.
Behind in healing.
Behind in everything.

But Scripture says there’s a time for everything.

And that hit me... Not every season is harvest.

Some are planting.
Some are pruning.
Being faithful to the sowing and tending. ✨

And that doesn’t mean you’re failing.

Comparison creates panic.
Calling creates peace.
Stay in your lane.

There’s grace there.

I used to wait until I had everything figured out before I moved.

I'm talking EVERYTHING figured out...

The full plan.
The guaranteed outcome.
The certainty.

I thought it was a fail safe.. But I’ve learned that clarity often comes after obedience.

I read .. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart…” in Proverbs 3:5.. and I took a deep breath and read it again.

"TRUST in the Lord with ALL your heart..."

So I started taking small steps.
WITHOUT perfect understanding. WITHOUT the whole plan.

Just trust.

You don’t need the whole map.
Just the next faithful step.

There’s a difference.

You’ve stretched into new roles.
New levels of responsibility.
New versions of yourself.

You’ve battled insecurity and still invested in growth. You’ve fought scarcity thinking and still chosen to build. You’ve wrestled doubt and still said yes.

Sis, that’s maturity and resilience. ✨

And that’s exactly why you can handle what’s coming next.

You don’t need louder confidence.
You need rooted confidence.

The kind that says, “I’ve survived hard things before. I can do this too.”

And you can.
Keep going. I’m walking with you.

Not every door needs to be kicked down.

Some doors open when you’re at peace.

Revelation 3:8 says, “See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.”

If God opened it, you won’t have to manipulate it. You won’t have to beg for it. You won’t have to exhaust yourself to keep it.

Peace is confirmation. 🙌🏼

If you’re anxious, striving, scrambling… Sis you need to pause, take a breath and remember that God’s will does not require panic.

It requires partnership.

And partnership starts in the secret place.
In prayer. In stillness. In surrender.

You are not behind. You are being prepared. And what is for you will come without all the chaos attached.

Rest.
Trust.
Receive.
