God's timing... Crazy, interesting, funny, perfect.

18 years ago we crossed paths by God's design.

10 years ago we said "I Do."

You are my forever confidante, soft place to fall, champion, partner in all things that make up this life... My love.

We are blessed to have grown through every moment together and I am so eager to continue our journey side by side.

This past week was full of smiles, hugs and happy tears! 💖

First day of 8th grade
Rejoining the aide team at the school
Meeting a new teacher
Working side by side with my hubby
Sharing the journey with our teenager
Family trip to Disneyland
Birthday party on the beach

And so many more moments in between that weren't captured with an image.

Last night as I took the photos of the sunset and moon I was reminded of God's faithfulness in my life.

The very things I experienced this past week are all answers to prayers I lifted up and called on God to make possible.

Again and again, He has been faithful to move mountains, provide our every need and heal us.

Mark 11:24, "Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

Be encouraged, be bold and be faithful in your prayers. Your answers will come. ❤️

If you're a homeschooling family or thinking about it, here's the skinny...

It's a lesson planning, curriculum printing, book unbinding, hole punching whirlwind of "please God let me be doing all the right things"!

While there can be times of uncertainty, learning and overwhelm...

The moments of steadiness, growth and joy far outweigh them.

It has been such a blessing to be on this journey and allowing our middle schooler to learn, grow and flourish without unnecessary pressures so many of our young teens face nowadays.

Truth be told... We couldn't do this alone. A support system of parents that can help you explore options and guide you in the direction that best fit your family's needs makes such a difference.

I'm not an expert, but if are feeling lost in your homeschooling journey feel free to reach out and I will do my best to help or point you in the right direction. 🤍

Just a Mom... frying potatoes ... sipping her coffee... alone with her thoughts...

At the mercy of the potato's timing, I was being forced to slow down. A regular moment in every day life and I heard the whisper, "slow down, take it all in".

This time of year is when it gets hectic as school begins. All the calendar syncing, prep work, shopping, planning and sleep pattern adjusting can be a lot for everyone in the house all at the same time.

Nevermind the emotional rollercoaster, from nostalgia to excitement, as you look back on previous years and look forwarx to what's next.

Mama hearts of the world unite! ✨

My thoughts led me to be thankful for every moment we've been blessed to have our kids at home. The sound of their laughter, the hustle and bustle, the school shuttle runs to multiple schools and the late nights spent making sure they got that project done!

And today, I was thankful for this moment.. The mundane task of making breakfast. The opportunity to slow down, and take it all in.

These busy days won't be forever, but their memories will be. ✨

I want to encourage you to use the ordinary moments of the day to slow down, listen and reflect on the goodness of God's blessings.

But even visionaries need rest. 💗

HERE'S THE TRUTH:
Rest is not a weakness.
It’s WORSHIP
It’s WISDOM
It’s God’s design

✨ You are not called to hustle 24/7.
You are called to CO-LABOR with the Lord—and that includes PAUSING.

🤍Here are a few ways to make rest part of your business rhythm:

📅 Time-block true rest just like appointments
⏰ Set a daily alarm to step away, stretch, breathe, or pray
📖 Use Sabbath days to refill your spirit—no guilt attached
🚫 Say no to one more task if it’s costing your peace

🤍Scripture to anchor your rest:

🕊️ “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” – Matthew 11:28

🌿 “In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat— for He grants sleep to those He loves.” – Psalm 127:2

So go ahead and laugh at the non-stop ideas…
But then UNPLUG.

You’re allowed. You’re supported. You’re still successful—even in rest. 💛
