Today on The Krista Redpath Show, I take you inside one of the best stories in the Big Sky.
We take a deeper look at Big Sky MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, and six-time Player of the Week, Taylee Chirrick.
From Roberts, Montana, a town of about 300 people — she was a four-sport athlete and state champion with record-setting performances in track. She has grown into one of the most impactful and complete players in the country.
One of my favorite photos in this reel captures a young Taylee, already living up to the nickname “Roberts Robber,” trying to steal her little sister TJ’s basketball while she’s holding her own!
A unanimous First Team All-Conference selection, the only unanimous pick, voted on by the league’s coaches — she leads her team in scoring, assists, steals, rebounding, and impacts every possession, ranking #2 nationally in steals.
Built on instinct, endurance, and a relentless motor, her game reflects the foundation behind it.
These photos tell a deeper story — of family, foundation, and the path that shaped her, one I genuinely loved bringing to life!
