Montana State opened the CNFR with Hailey Burger and Cole Gerhardt posting the team’s first scoring runs Sunday before three more Bobcats moved into top-five spots Monday. Tuesday saw Wyatt Jensen post the team's best finish, taking seventh in tie down roping.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol shared a video and responding to a driver's request for assistance near Elk Mountain after the driver discovered a gopher snake inside their vehicle. Bozeman Police is investigating a vehicle versus bicycle crash near the Griffin Drive and Rouse Avenue intersection. Police say the crash resulted in the death of a child. The investigation is ongoing and Griffin Drive remains closed to traffic.
