🕊️ A Tribute to Uncle Pete – The Heart Behind Home20
Before there was a name… before the first es**rt… before the logo, the shirts, or the trucks… there was Uncle Pete.
Home20 was more than just a business idea — it was born out of love, responsibility, and a deep desire to provide for the one who meant so much to me. Uncle Pete was the reason I started this journey. He was my motivation when I felt like giving up. My why when I questioned the how. Without him, there would be no Home20 — point blank.
When I moved back home, it was tough. I couldn’t find a job that was flexible enough to let me leave if I didn’t have anyone to watch him. And trying to return to the social services field while taking a huge pay cut going from Texas to Alabama… that was a big adjustment — mentally, emotionally, and financially.
But God had other plans. Out of that challenge came Home20 — a business that allowed me to work, provide, and still be there for Uncle Pete every single day. He didn’t say much with words, but his presence spoke volumes. He believed in me, in his own way — and pushed me to think bigger, move smarter, and love harder.
Every blessing we’ve shared through this business… all of it is rooted in the love and legacy of Uncle Pete.
This year’s Back to School Bash was our first without him physically there — and it hit different. No music, no wheelchair spin moves. Just the quiet reminder that he’s still here… in the heart of everything we do.
So today, we honor him. Not just for being family — but for being the foundation.
Thank you, Uncle Pete, for giving me the courage to build something from nothing.
