RadioA1A® is an affiliate of the A1A Media Network (A1A Media LLC) and was created in 2013 by Harry Teaford in Islamorada, Florida with a goal and mission to broadcast Tropical Music, Entertainment, News and Information to the world from the Florida Keys. RadioA1A® studios are located at the 81 mile-marker oceanside on US 1 (FL State Road A1A). The A1A Media Network also streams Country Music by independent songwriters on Cruisin’ Country Radio and Inspirational independent songwriters on Paradise Road Radio.
Many RadioA1A® programs are simultaneously video streamed live to the A1A Media Network YouTube Channel, multiple pages, and Twitter/Periscope. This rare style of music is sourced from the world’s largest independent artist Tropical music database containing over 12,000 music files by thousands of independent ‘Tropical Americana’ music songwriters. The RadioA1A® Islamorada studios allow us to provide unique audio/video production both live and recorded in a Florida Keys setting. We conduct studio recording sessions, live and recorded performances, produce music videos and stream HD broadcasts from this facility. RadioA1A® Programming Director, Dewey Engstrom has the experience of over 30 years in commercial Radio, TV and Audio production. Dewey is also an accomplished painter, graphic artist, Social Media manager and website developer.
We have a close relationship with Tuff Duck Music Productions in Jackson, TN. They have embraced the ‘Tropical Americana’ music format and provide independent artists with advanced studio production, music distribution/publishing, marketing, and management. Tuff Duck Music has relationships with state of the art and established recording studios in Memphis, Nashville, and Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
RadioA1A® News Director and Local Programming Producer is Keys Radio veteran, Mark Mills from Key Largo. Our Medical Programming is hosted and produced by world renowned surgeon, Dr. Bob McLellan from Marathon Key. Dr. Bob’s medical Moments air 4 times daily on RadioA1A® to educate and discuss healthcare issues that affect all of us. Dr. Bob also delivers our daily National and International News reports.
Lyle & Sonya Wilson host The Weekly Trop 40 ‘Tropical Americana’ Music Official Top 40 Countdown each Sunday at Noon, live from RadioA1A® studios.

In 2015, RadioA1A® with Lisa & Kenny Burke of Confetti Cove Entertainment created an exclusive and original multi location broadcast event that coincides with the annual Parrothead ‘Phlocking’ to Key West. Each year, during the last full week of October and first weekend in November the RadioA1A® broadcast team assembles in Port Richey, FL and kick off the annual ‘Phollow the Phlock MOTM Pit Stop Tour’. This ‘Tropical Americana’ independent songwriter tour finishes in a big “Party with a Purpose” at the ‘Meeting of the Minds’ (MOTM) Parrothead convention in Key West. Lisa & Kenny Burke administrate ‘What’s Going On Live Music Promotions’ with over 50 linked Social Media pages supporting and promoting live music in the US and Canada.
RadioA1A® listener statistics indicate that the average demographic description of our listeners/viewers are white females, average aged 52, empty nesters and household purchase decision makers with disposable income. We actively target that growing demographic. Our listenership is in the tens of thousands daily accessing RadioA1A® programming on smartphones, Alexa, smart TVs and PCs.
