A Closing Prayer for Blendia By India
Today, I’m closing a chapter that began on November 17th, 2015 — the day I signed the papers to bring Blendia By India to life. What started with my aunt’s encouragement and a simple “just start” has blossomed into something far greater than I ever could’ve imagined.
From traveling to hair shows and festivals, to opening my own storefront in Madison Mall, to seeing my work shared by Big K.R.I.T., Missy Elliott, and so many others — every single moment has been a blessing. My soaping videos went viral more times than I can count, but it was the connections that meant the most — the smiles at markets, the DMs from customers who said my products helped them heal, and the many entrepreneurs I’ve mentored who went on to build their own brands.
Over the years, I’ve had the honor of shipping my creations to almost every U.S. state, and even beyond — reaching Canada, Hong Kong, Korea, and the Virgin Islands. The thought that something I made with my own two hands traveled across the world to bring someone joy still fills my heart with gratitude.
Blendia By India has given me awards, magazine features, and recognition — but more importantly, it gave me purpose. It taught me patience, creativity, and faith. It allowed me to pour love into every bar of soap, every jar, every bottle — and to share that love with the world.
For years, I went back and forth about this decision. But now, I feel peace. Because I know I’ve done something many people are still dreaming to do. I’ve built something beautiful, and now it’s time to let it rest.
To everyone who ever supported, shared, purchased, or encouraged me — thank you. You became family.
And to Blendia By India — thank you for the lessons, the growth, and the magic.
It’s time to make room for a new passion project, a new chapter, a new calling.
