I had *no idea* anybody was still doing house calls these days in Northeast Ohio, but PT and lifetime Ohioan Amy McMillin has never done things the way anyone expects – something I'm absolutely sure of after getting to know her. 🥰
From the sparkly sunshine she carries with her to her sense of humor and giant heart, it was an honor to write her story.
I loved hearing about how she busted her way out of her family's expectations, and turned the dreams of a little girl who used to pretend she lived in FernGully into a thriving medical practice that's bringing humanity back into medicine, one Ohioan at a time.

"The first time I met Amy McMillin, we were waiting our turn for headshots in a tiny photography studio tucked inside one of Medina's historic brick buildings.
The kind of place with squeaky wood floors and tall vintage windows where afternoon sunlight spills sideways across the room.
Amy stood in a dusty sunbeam holding two jackets.
One was a safe navy blue number.
The other was bright pink, and I mean BRIGHT pink.
A few coworkers had apparently tried to steer her toward the safer option. The pink jacket, they thought, was a little much..."
