The town of Walworth received a lot of snow during the 2024-2025 winter season: more than 100 in., after not having an exorbitant amount for the previous four to five years.

My goodness, we're already in June and halfway through 2025. I don't know about you, but it's flying by for me, probably because I'm older and as I've said in this space before, time really does feel like it goes by more quickly when you get to a certain age.

Saint Johnsville Enterprise, February 23, 1932:

This quaint community nestled away in Van Hornesville, New York is truly unique, with its serene environment and lack of common amenities such as traffic lights, grocery stores, or gas stations. Van Hornesville is home of the charming school mentioned below. The graduating classes here are quite small, averaging between five and fifteen students hosting Kindergarten - 12th grade in the same building. Despite the modest class sizes, the school remains a cornerstone of the community, preserving its rich heritage and fostering a close-knit environment for its students. — to think that school never closed, even while kids commuted in horse drawn carriage! So much has changed in less than a century.
