Since we're on our way out...let's look back on the era of SFTA. This is how you come back from a break from podcasting.

Forget structure! On this episode, we decide to take SFTA in a new direction. It’s free-form, “like a lava lamp”. Besides the banter, we decide to address the fact that we are old and out of touch with the scene, so we play a few songs from current independent bands. We play This, My Vendetta (Scott...

Tawny and I have decided to officially end Sounds From the Attic. Our domain is expiring in 2 days and our episodes will no longer be available. We had no idea that when we put our cheap headset mics on 5 years ago that podcasting would take us where it has. SFTA will have a special place in our hearts and we thank you for being part of it. You can now find Tawny podcasting with Mommy's Cocktail Hour and you can find me with Ivy Envy.

4 years ago, we put out the "Tawny's letter to herself" episode.

Here's our new episode. We talk about changes in our personal lives and what impact it will have on Sounds From the Attic.

Corey and Tawny have an announcement in this episode. Big changes are coming to our personal lives and to Sounds From the Attic. This is a serious episode, but we thought it would be a good avenue to share this news with you.

We just recorded episode #33. We talk about changes in our lives and how they will impact this podcast. It'll be out tomorrow.

I bet we'll record a new episode in the next few weeks.

How about a new episode?

Yes, we promised a holiday episode…so here it is. It’s 3 weeks late and we don’t talk about the holidays. We talk about The Impossibles, “dry heat” and a town that’s full of stench. Towards the end of the show, Patrick makes the announcement that he has formed a band and hopes to be playing shows...

Looks like a new episode will be coming your way. No promises though. You know us.

Fresh episode is up. You can also subscribe to SFTA in iTunes...it's free. This is a good episode. We play two bands comprised of young folks and give them our honest opinions. And of course, we let the conversation wander and never really know where it will end up. We only had to cut out one whole topic on this one.

This will be a true SFTA episode....no agenda or direction and requiring entire "un-airable" stories to be cut out.

Sitting down to record a new episode. We will be playing music we've never heard before.

Jesse Codling from forYoungModerns is our guest on this episode. Lots of talk about the QC independent music scene in the late 90's and early 00's. Disclaimer - this episode is a little more drunk and vulgar than usual. We figure that will scare people off and attract others at the same time.

You see, if you subscribe in iTunes, there is a new SFTA episode in there for you.

Recording a new episode tonight. It's the 20th anniversary of the release of Nevermind and we'll have another resident of Seattle on as a guest.
