Sometimes you just have to laugh at things. 😂

Yesterday, I was genuinely heartbroken that someone or possibly more than one person felt comfortable enough to steal from me during my store sale and garage sale.

We do know who took the pink cowgirl bathroom set, along with other items. As for the boots and jewelry, I honestly don’t know yet if that was one person or multiple people.

Either way, I’ll pray for whoever was involved.

I pray the boots you stole bring you some kind of comfort. I hope the jewelry made you feel beautiful.

But I do have to laugh at one part…

Whoever stole one of the boot boxes apparently didn’t realize there was only ONE boot inside. 😂

The matching boot was still sitting right there on display.

So apparently we’re officially at 2½ pairs of stolen boots. 🤦‍♀️😂

If the person who ended up with that lonely boot realizes their mistake, you’re more than welcome to come back for the other one.

Just bring your wallet this time and maybe pay for the rest of what was taken while you’re at it. 😉

I really hate that I even have to make this post.

Today, during our massive store sale, I discovered that over $500 worth of merchandise was stolen from my store.

I cannot pinpoint exactly who took what, so I will not publicly accuse anyone. But I do know what inventory I had, what was sold, and what is now missing.

This store is already in the middle of a huge liquidation sale. Items were marked down as low as $1, with most merchandise being sold for a fraction of what I originally paid. I was trying to give people an opportunity to get some amazing deals while I prepare to close this chapter.

Stealing from a small business especially one already practically giving merchandise away is beyond disappointing.

Because of what happened today, things will be handled differently going forward. Please do not take it personally if bags are monitored, certain areas are restricted, or I am more cautious about how many people are allowed inside at one time.

To the people who came in, shopped, paid, respected my store, and supported my business: thank you. I truly appreciate you.

And to whoever walked out with merchandise they did not pay for you know who you are.

I hope that $500+ worth of stuff was worth it.
