Next Saturday, I'm going to see a band that's been on my life list since high school . Not only that, both buds in .of.evil and are playing! Not only that, but it'll be Braince's album release show! I've heard nothing but good things about too, so it's gonna be a great night.

Listened to the new with on my way to work this morning! What a great surprise and it lasted the entire commute. Perfect!

A few takeaways:

crushed it. Handling three band members in one interview is no small task, but he made it feel super natural and easy to follow. Dude’s got skills.

mentioned who they sound like — Melvins and Sunny Day Real Estate, which totally clicks now!

got a much deserved shoutout for his work on Hollow Cells. He’s been my go-to since Dipterid started and always brings top-notch masters.

Both Belonging and debuted their songs titled "The Dog"—completely different tracks, same name. No release date yet for the split they'llbe on, but you’ll hear them first on this episode.

Oh—and apparently the whole band, and Dan, said they like me!

Hollow Cells is streaming everywhere and vinyl copies are available on Bandcamp — just a handful of gold copies left!

Tomorrow kicks off July — and with it, the East Coast tour for .chicago & . Hard to believe I've only ever been out that way for work... pretty sure these venues will leave a better impression. Bring me next time!

The limited edition comics for debut EP were delivered today, and these turned out insane! Huge thanks to for summoning these songs to visual stories.

Only 50 copies were printed and nearly half have been claimed.

🚨 🪰NEW RELEASE ALERT 🪰🚨

Dipterid first connected with while hearing rumblings about their upcoming material (stay tuned)—but it was their 2021 debut, Hollow Cells, that completely floored us.

Raw, hypnotic, and emotionally charged, it quickly became a staple at Dipterid HQ—living rent-free… at least until the invoices started showing up.

Now mastered by  pressed at  and housed in jackets printed by  Hollow Cells is finally available on vinyl.

Oh, and they also made a video for “Buzzkill”—shot in their garage, DIY to the core.
