So….the legendary, often imitated but never duplicated Water Battles that occur during Pirate Days…..While we don’t organize or oversee them, we have been made aware of a few planned battles.

Around noon, there is likely to be a battle around Jake's Place.

Also around noon, The Battle of Blackwater should kick off in the cove leading back to Goodhue Boat Company, Blackwater (former Crazy Horse Marina).

At an unknown time, after 1 but before 5, The Virginia Dare is reported to be arriving in the vicinity of the bridge ready to do battle.

All this being said….

BE SAFE!
BE COURTEOUS!
OBEY ALL LAWS!
DO NOT DRINK AND BOAT!
REMEMBER THAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE!
WEAR YOUR LIFE JACKETS!
DO NOT USE WATER BALLOONS….THEY ARE NOW ILLEGAL!
DO NOT USE WATER BALLOON LAUNCHERS!
