If you still have fire alarms, building entry systems and other life safety devices running on copper lines. Those lines are going away, and waiting could leave them with broken systems and high repair bills.
AT&T has set today as the day they stop taking change orders for those types of lines. The other carriers will follow shortly. You will still be able to PORT the line to another carrier and cancel the service, but not much more than that.

ALERT!!

AT&T has announced that it will stop accepting add, move, or change orders for legacy POTS lines on October 15, 2025, across its entire 20-state wireline footprint, except for portions of a few states. This means millions of lines nationwide will be frozen in place, with rates already climbing steeply for those who hold on. The urgency is clear: if your organization has any POTS lines still in use, you need to immediately migrate these services, or risk leaving them stranded with higher costs and limited options.

Struggling with your Marketing? It is an endless battle to keep up and keep Score! Here is an excerpt from a good LinkedIn article you might not have seen.

"If only keeping score in B2B were as simple as kicking the ball through the uprights and putting three points up on the board. Instead, we know that the average customer journey now lasts 211 days, and is often longer at big companies. Dreamdata found the average time from the first LinkedIn Ads impression to revenue is 320 days, and from ad engagement (like, comment, click) to revenue is 235 days.

You can’t measure revenue impact before the revenue comes in, which is why trying to find instant cause-and-effect is a fool’s errand. Even when your marketing team scores big with an ad campaign that jolts category awareness and long-term pipeline health, it might be months before that can be proven.

That doesn’t mean marketing leaders can’t measure impact and optimize around key outcomes while lengthy buyer cycles unfold. They just need a new playbook. This week’s newsletter provides you with that and more.
