Meet Brennon Hechimovich — our talented Multimedia Content Producer and dedicated Monona Grove High School AV Club Advisor!

For over three years, Brennon has brought creativity, leadership, and a passion for media to the City of Monona. From supporting and leading the city's visual media needs to mentoring the next generation of media professionals, he plays a vital role both behind the scenes and in the high school studio.

Through his work with the AV Club, Brennon helps students gain real-world media experience while making high school a little more exciting. He also helps recruit club members to work as part-time media techs, filming city meetings and livestreaming them on YouTube.

Thank you, Brennon, for enriching our community and inspiring young minds through the power of media!

Today marks two years since Neil Stechschulte joined the City of Monona as our City Administrator. The City Administrator plays a critical role in effective local government: coordinating departments, managing operations, and helping turn policy decisions into real-world results that serve residents every day.

Neil does all of that with a personable, approachable style—handling complex situations with ease, calm, and genuine care for the community. We’re grateful for his leadership and collaborative spirit.

Upcoming Public Meeting
US 51 (Stoughton Road) South Study.
Tuesday, July 15 at La Follette High School.

The US 51 South Study covers 4.4 miles from Voges Rd/Terminal Dr in McFarland to WIS 30 in Madison. The study will be presenting and requesting feedback on intersection conceptual alternatives to improve safety, mobility, and community connectivity issues for all travelers on the Stoughton Road South corridor.

This meeting will be an open house format held from 5:30-7:00 and will focus on reviewing conceptual alternatives at each intersection along the corridor and providing input that will help shape the vision for Stoughton Road South. In addition, the city of Madison will have a representative available to provide updates on the city's Southeast Area Plan.

Study details and information about the upcoming public meeting can be found on the study’s website: tinyurl.com/US51SouthStudy. Meeting materials and an online survey will be available on the study website after the meeting for those unable to attend.
